Job Overview

This is a permanent position in Saint-Hyacinthe for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle, including performing comparative analyses, ensuring the integrity of capital projects, and preparing monthly and annual financial statements.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Perform comparative analyses for various accounts in the general ledger.
  2. Ensure the integrity of capital projects, inventories, and databases.
  3. Analyze variances and actual budgets.
  4. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
  5. Manage the company's monthly and annual tax returns.
  6. Invoicing and follow-up of customer files.
  7. Perform bank reconciliations and deposits.
  8. Participate in annual audits.
  9. Implement and supervise internal controls.
  10. Supervise administrative support staff.
  11. Manage payroll process (less than 100 employees).
Requirements
  • Bilingualism is essential.
  • A BAC in accounting or equivalent experience; CPA is an asset.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience.
  • Excellent command of the Office suite.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems: Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics/Navision.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Autonomous, resourceful, with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and make proactive decisions.
  • Attention to detail, rigor, and sense of precision.
