**Job Description:**

The Contractor Confirmations & Counterparty Management Analyst will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for overseeing the onboarding of new commodity counterparties, managing trade confirmations, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Counterparty Onboarding: Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and facilitate the onboarding process of new commodity counterparties.
  • Trade Confirmation Management: Process and manage daily commodity trade confirmations across various ETRM platforms, ensuring alignment with commercial contracts and company policies.
  • Data Maintenance: Ensure accurate counterparty information across ETRM and ERP systems in preparation for system upgrades.
  • System Updates: Maintain current and accurate counterparty data in systems such as SAP, Solarc Right Angle, Allegro Horizon, and others.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain organized and accurate trade confirmation records, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Trading/Marketing, Contracts, Legal, Credit, Treasury, and other departments to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to policies and controls.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing operational processes, controls, and customer service, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary education in business, finance, or legal.
  • Experience in a commodity trading/marketing environment.
  • Strong computer skills & proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • Working knowledge with various ETRM platforms (e.g. Egistix, OMS, Allegro Horizon, RightAngle).
  • Experience with SAP software considered an asset.
  • Experience with Content Server and/or SharePoint considered an asset.
  • Experience in data analytics considered an asset.
