At Novartis Farmacéutica, we are seeking a seasoned Patient Safety Manager to join our team in Canada. This exciting opportunity will enable you to make a meaningful impact in the implementation of our global Patient Safety strategy.

About the Role

This challenging position requires a strong background in pharmacovigilance and healthcare compliance, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research organizations. As a Patient Safety Manager, you will be responsible for managing operational processes to ensure compliance with local regulations, national standards, and Novartis global procedures.

You will work closely with our Patient Safety Specialists and Country Patient Safety Head to establish local programs, review safety protocols, and develop corrective actions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Mentoring less experienced staff and maintaining a professional network of key contacts
  • Providing scientific expertise during review of Phase IV Clinical Trials and NIS protocols
  • Acting as a key partner in establishing local programs and reviewing vigilance language and content
  • Ensuring timely preparation and submission of KPI reports

  • A Health Care Sciences Professional degree or equivalent training and experience
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills across different audiences and organizational levels
  • Quality focused and results oriented
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and French
  • Knowledge in automation solutions like Power BI, AI to enhance data analysis and processes
