Job Description

Guru Nanak General Store Ltd is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Process Payments: Tabulate total payment for goods or services required, receive payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock and Merchandise: Weigh produce and bulk foods, wrap or place merchandise in bags, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Training and Development: Willingness to learn and train on new skills and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
