Job Description

We are looking for a confident and experienced medical writer to join our rapidly growing medical communications team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects across the full spectrum of medical communications activities, including traditional and digital deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality scientific and medical content that meets and exceeds client expectations.
  • Interface with clients, collaborate with Klicksters in other teams, and support fellow Klicksters on wider business needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and literature reviews, interpret and synthesize large amounts of scientific data, and create compelling messaging and scientific stories.
  • Structure and write key medical communications documents, including scientific platforms, lexicons, manuscripts, posters, abstracts, peer-to-peer slide decks, website content, and interactive training programs.
  • Adapt writing style to suit different audiences, including primary and secondary care physicians, specialists, nurses, patients, and other stakeholders.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensure work adheres to internal quality control standards, and review projects for scientific accuracy and alignment with the project brief.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in the life sciences, PhD or MD preferred.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the life sciences and be able to leverage and apply this knowledge across a variety of therapeutic areas.
  • Have several years of experience working within medical communications, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Have experience and expertise in digital healthcare communications.
