Key Responsibilities

As a Team Leader with WJS Canada, you will be responsible for working a combination of front-line support with clients and administration on a weekly basis. This will involve hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating residential staff to ensure the smooth operation of our programs.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of our programs, including facilities, equipment, and staffing.
  • Review and approve daily log notes, incident reports, time sheets, and other payroll documents.
  • Develop and monitor Individual Service Plans (ISPs) to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Staff discipline and performance improvement plans in association with the Program Director.
  • Participate in the behavior review committee and coordinate case conferences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with individuals with high behaviors or acquired brain injury.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Diploma in Disabilities Studies or a related Social Sciences, Human Services, or Special Education degree.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license, clear driving abstract, and reliable vehicle.
  • Experience writing and implementing program plans and goals is an asset.
