Vintage Hotels is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook 1 to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Cook 1, you will be responsible for preparing menu items specific to pastry, ensuring the rotation of food stocks, and performing inventory control functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare menu items specific to pastry, adhering to menu requirements and quality standards.
  • Assist team members as needed to meet cooking requirements and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Conduct daily inventory control and ensure the rotation of food stocks to maintain optimal levels.
  • Review kitchen function sheets to guarantee the availability of food items and special menu requirements.

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of culinary experience, preferably in a fine dining establishment with a focus on pastry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certificate.
  • Reliable transportation to the workplace.
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
