About Chevron Town Pantry

We are a dynamic retail store seeking a highly skilled Store Manager to lead our team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of retail staff, assigning duties and tasks to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to determine consumer demand, analyze sales trends, and identify opportunities to increase sales.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold, implementing price and credit policies to maximize sales.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our products and services.
  • Financial Management: Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize store performance.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service, resolving issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Support for Diversity and Inclusion
  • Accessibility: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in programs that support newcomers and refugees, assisting with settlement needs and promoting social and labor market integration.
  • Support for Youth: Participate in programs that support youth employment, offering on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, providing cultural competency training and facilitating access to Elders.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination, offering mentorship programs and diversity training.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in retail management.
