We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Physiotherapy Blackburn & Taylor Kidd. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with veterans under the Program of Comprehensive Vocational Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS) to provide assessment and treatment services for complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat clients with diverse caseloads, including those with WSIB-funded cases
- Develop and implement holistic, individualized treatment plans based on critical analysis and clinical reasoning
- Manage caseload in a fast-paced multidisciplinary work environment
- Collaborate with the inter-professional team, stakeholders, and other Occupational Therapists
- Participate in case conferences and case management
- Preceptorship/co-preceptorship of Occupational Therapy students
- Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
- Solid experience in the assessment and treatment of adults with complex musculoskeletal, neurological (mTBI), and mental health conditions
- Experience in Occupational and Veterans Rehabilitation and Mental Health is a significant asset
- Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling, and meet reporting deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
- Excellent oral, written, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency with computers and new technology
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
- Must have own vehicle, and a valid Driver's license is required
- A diverse caseload with assessment and treatment opportunities
- Flexibility to work in person or virtually, with the ability to structure your schedule to meet your needs and the needs of your clientele
