Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to PCBA Machine Operators, Assemblers, and other production staff to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Production Planning and Control: Coordinate production activities to meet customer requirements, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment problems to ensure machine availability, reliability, and quality.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure production of accurate parts and products as per drawings, while maintaining quality standards.
  • Material Management: Order materials as per requirements, follow up with purchasing, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Inventory Control and Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, control stock levels, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Cost Control and Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce labor costs, improve efficiency, and optimize production processes.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, monitor hazards, and implement controls to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to production staff to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and produce reports to track production metrics, identify trends, and inform business decisions.
Requirements and Skills
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as manufacturing electronics.
  • Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production, with a strong background in electronics and PCBA production.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills; ability to perform basic mathematical functions; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent mentoring, motivation, and coaching skills.
  • Software and Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office programs; experience with MRP programs (MS Dynamics or equivalent) and IPC standards.
