About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Sandy Lane Automotive Services West Ltd. as a Mechanical Repair Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units and test them to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Adjust and Repair Parts and Components: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform routine maintenance services on vehicles to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Estimate the cost of parts and labour required to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in the field of automotive repair is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with dusty, dirty, and noisy conditions.
