We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Professional to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
- Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs
- Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor's requests/issues
- Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy
- Provide on-going training for new and existing pharmacy colleagues
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license
- Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
- Excellent leadership and performance management skills
- Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
- Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Health Watch Pharmacy Computer system
