About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in supporting the modernization of our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with staff across departments to understand business needs and propose solutions to meet these needs.
  • Elicit and document business, system, and functional requirements for systems modernization projects.
  • Oversee the development, testing, and support of solutions and reports across various departments.
  • Identify training requirements and needs, create training materials, and deliver staff training.
  • Develop user support documentation and provide support to Foundation staff through the IT Service Desk.
  • Lead and manage systems modernization and business analysis projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate work with vendors and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Assess the use of systems and systems functionality within the Foundation and make efficiency improvement recommendations.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, commerce, or a related technical field.
  • Five to seven years of experience in business systems analysis or a related role, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex systems projects.
  • PMP designation or similar would be an asset.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying these skills to resolve application design considerations and technical issues.
  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within timelines and budgets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead consultations, prepare and present options papers, business cases, and presentations.
