About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Eurostar Auto Repair Ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, reviewing work orders, and adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review Work Orders: Review work orders to determine the necessary repairs and maintenance required for vehicles.
  • Adjust, Repair or Replace Parts: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and provide accurate quotes to customers.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service on vehicles to ensure they are running efficiently and safely.
  • Complete Reports: Complete reports to record problems and work performed, and provide detailed information to customers and management.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, and reliable individual with excellent communication skills.
