Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Retail Store Supervisor to lead our sales floor team at Canada Inc O/A Signature Signs & Stitchery. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of sales workers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assign sales workers to duties and manage their performance
  • Hire, train, and develop staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate inventory management
  • Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply chain issues efficiently
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring stock levels are optimal
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership and teamwork skills, supervising and coordinating activities of sales workers

Requirements:



  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Client-focused and organized, with a reliability and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
