We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Staff to join our team at Imperial China Restaurant.
About the Job:- This permanent position offers 30-40 hours of work per week, with a competitive $15-$20 per hour salary.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, surfaces, and storage areas;
- Receiving, storing, and handling supplies and ingredients;
- Washing and preparing vegetables and fruits for cooking;
- Assisting with food preparation and cooking tasks as needed;
- Maintaining a safe working environment and reporting any hazards or incidents;
- Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A high school diploma or equivalent education;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity;
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions (if applicable);
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects;
- Reliability and punctuality.
