Job Summary

Pursuit Collection is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server (Host) to join our team. As a Server (Host), you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Answer questions about the surroundings, menu, and restaurant, showcasing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Develop basic wine knowledge and guide guests accordingly, based on food pairing and sweetness levels.
  • Successfully complete all training programs, staying up-to-date with menu changes and restaurant operations.
  • Manage a full section, ensuring seamless service and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Keep all areas clean and orderly, including stockrooms and storage, at all times.
  • Manage proper cash and float security during operating hours, administering your own cash floats on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • 1-2 years of serving experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Appropriately groomed and willing to adhere to the restaurant grooming policy.
  • Customer service oriented, with a positive attitude and proactive approach.
  • Able to lift at least 15 pounds and stand for long periods of time, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Pro-serve qualifications, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
