Holt Renfrew is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll, including collecting and verifying timesheets and attendance records, entering and processing payroll data, and calculating wages, salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial payroll laws.
  • Prepare and file required payroll tax returns and reports, and generate and distribute payroll reports to management.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems, and identify and recommend improvements to payroll processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in payroll administration or a related role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software such as Workday and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations, and excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
