The Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll own client relationships in various industries, working closely with top tax experts to further your career and create a unique career journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish deep-trusting relationships with clients, advising them on complex tax matters.
  • Advise clients on reorganizations, rollovers, windups, amalgamations, succession planning, and review complex tax returns.
  • Cultivate and mentor colleagues on tax compliance, helping them discuss tax planning options.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients from various industries, impacting the financial operation of our practice.
  • Lead the management of our growing tax practice, identifying and developing new opportunities for additional tax services.

Requirements:

  • Completed CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Master's of Taxation degree.
  • Developed and presented new ideas, approaches, and tax solutions for clients, providing exceptional client service.
  • Keen interest and skill in pursuing business development opportunities to grow our tax practice.
  • Technical expertise in corporate and personal Canadian tax planning and compliance.
  • Seeks opportunities to support others in their ongoing professional development.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
