Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Fed Finance Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to our management team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Financial Operations: Coordinate and review the work of clerks who perform tasks such as accounts receivable and payable, financial form processing, and insurance claims.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accuracy of balance sheet accounts, review and verify work, and authorize routine payments and transactions.
  • Divisional Support: Provide financial support to our ten divisions, including coordinating month-ends and quarters with head office.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress reports.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
