Culinary Team Member

- As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances in a fast-paced environment at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill.
- Ordering supplies and equipment is also a crucial part of this role, ensuring that our kitchen stays well-stocked and efficient.
- You will supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to maintain a smooth and productive work environment.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Cleaning the kitchen and work areas is also an essential part of this role, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- You will also be responsible for ensuring that all staff members have the necessary certifications, such as a Safe Food Handling certificate, to maintain a high level of food safety.
- Transportation to and from work is available via public transportation, making it easy for you to get to and from work.
- This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to be physically demanding, standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
- As a member of our team, you will be expected to demonstrate strong client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Screening questions will be used to assess your suitability for the role, including your availability for the advertised start date, your ability to work in Canada, your willingness to relocate, your previous experience in the field, and your possession of the required certifications.
