Job Title: Construction Labourer

VIACON MASONRY INC. is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Paving and raking asphalt
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites
Work Environment:

As a Construction Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You must be physically fit and able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
