Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Bonnyville, where you will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and consultation services for children and families experiencing emotional, social, and mental health challenges.
About the Role:
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with consulting psychiatrists, parents, teachers, social workers, and other child and family service providers to address the needs of children and families across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-informed and best-practice treatment modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy, to children and families experiencing mental health difficulties.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child and family.
- Conduct assessments, consultations, and referrals as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
- Work closely with community partners to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing, with training and experience in mental health assessment and psychotherapy.
- Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Preferred Qualifications:
As required.
