Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to join our team at Cabot Cape Breton. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and safety of our outdoor spaces. This will include tasks such as weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, and carting and spreading topsoil and other materials. You will also be responsible for laying sod or seed and planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees. Additionally, you will apply fertilizers and repair and maintain equipment. If you have a passion for horticulture and are able to work independently, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities


  • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
  • Cut grass
  • Rake and collect refuse
