Food Service Supervisor

Join Mahi Cornwall Inc as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure optimal food preparation and minimize waste
- Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that food and service meet our high expectations
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus and ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
