We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Viticulture Specialist to join our team at Arrowleaf Cellars INC. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working outdoors and contributing to the success of our vineyard.
About the Role:
This full-time position will be responsible for maintaining and managing the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
- Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions
- Pick row and orchard crops
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts
- Tie and secure plants
- Weeding
- Clean work area
- Harvest crops
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Requirements:
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
