Moody's Analytics is seeking an experienced Actuarial Client Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Client Support Focus Area, you will provide actuarial support, training, and advice to our clients on the implementation of our AXIS actuarial system.
Responsibilities:- Provide expert actuarial support to clients on the AXIS system, including training and advice on best practices.
- Investigate and analyze client questions and problems, and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Document all client interactions, problems, and resolutions.
- Liaise with developers and clients on required enhancements, including preparing business specification documents and designing testing.
- Train clients on specific modules or topics, and travel for training purposes as needed.
- A degree in actuarial science or equivalent.
- FSA designation preferred, or ASA with equivalent work experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in the life insurance industry in Canada or the US, including 2 years of relevant AXIS experience.
- Experience in life, annuity, or health in areas such as pricing, valuation, corporate modeling, risk management, ALM, stochastic modeling work, and hedging.
- Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, technical, and research skills.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities to meet targets.
- Excellent record-keeping ability.
- Ability to work out of our Toronto office or remotely from any location in the United States or Canada.
