Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Sector Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a territory focusing on Public Sector & Federal Accounts, working closely with Palo Alto business partners, and driving sales for our Prisma Cloud security solutions into new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a territory focusing on Public Sector & Federal Accounts
  • Work closely with Palo Alto business partners to drive sales for Prisma Cloud security solutions
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets in new business and renewals for ACV and TCV bookings
  • Collaborate with Cloud Provider partnerships, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, Accenture, and IBM
  • Present regular and accurate forecasting for review
  • Track and report on all opportunities, pipeline, and bookings to provide forecast reports to region management
  • Engage with customers to identify and progress opportunities while delivering subject matter expertise on Cloud & Cloud Native Security solutions
  • Qualify and progress leads and opportunities through the sales cycle to closure
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with channel partners
  • Stay up-to-date with knowledge of Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, DevOps, and Cloud Native technologies

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience exceeding sales quota as a Public Sector / Federal Account Manager for a cybersecurity company
  • Sales excellence - ability to demonstrate planning, strategy, qualification, and execution
  • Deep understanding of Cybersecurity space required
  • Understanding of Public Cloud Security space preferred
  • Prior experience selling SAAS or Cloud solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong verbal and written skills and proven presentation skills
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques
