About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Servicer to join our team at NEBULA APPLIANCES INC. As an Appliance Servicer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to identify faults and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Prepare written estimates of repair costs for customers, outlining the work required and the associated costs.
  • Read blueprints to determine the work requirements for each appliance, ensuring that all necessary repairs are completed efficiently.
  • Diagnose faults using testing devices, identifying the root cause of the issue and determining the best course of action for repair.
  • Repair electrical appliances and components, replacing faulty parts as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Advise customers on the work performed and the condition of their equipment, providing clear and concise information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an urban area, with public transportation available. The role is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week. The work language is English, and parking is available on site.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
