About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Master Performance Truck & Trailer Repairs Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs and adjustments as needed.
  • Repair and Maintain Truck Systems: Repair and maintain various truck systems, including engine, transmission, brake, and hydraulic systems, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of our vehicles.
  • Work with Colleagues: Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dusty, and noisy environment
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, reliable, and punctual
