About the Role

A&T Grocery is seeking a skilled Meat Packer to join our team. As a Meat Packer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe handling of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Handling: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials to and from storage areas, processing machines, and packaging stations.
  • Packaging and Filling: Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Maintenance and Quality Control: Feed and unload processing machines, check products and packaging for basic quality defects, and clean machines and immediate work areas.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Conditions: This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and a focus on quality and safety.
  • Physical Capabilities: The successful candidate will be able to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as required.
  • Work Schedule: The Meat Packer will work a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
