Senior Legal Counsel Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to lead the legal function in our Calgary office. The ideal candidate will have strong real estate experience, both in commercial real estate transactions and residential conveyancing work.

This is a broad in-house legal role where you will be involved in construction and project financing, corporate matters, land development, and litigation management. You will be part of a hybrid legal department, reporting to the General Counsel at Head Office while embedding yourself as a true business partner with regional business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the legal function in our Calgary office
  • Provide legal advice on commercial real estate transactions and residential conveyancing work
  • Be involved in construction and project financing, corporate matters, land development, and litigation management
  • Work closely with regional business units to provide legal support

Requirements:

  • 8-15 years of experience in real estate law
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and residential conveyancing work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
