We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Specialist to join our team at AR Construction & Renovators. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, reading blueprints and determining work requirements, and building foundations and roof systems.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with experience working on various projects. You will be required to prepare tenders and quotations, schedule and coordinate work on sites, and instruct apprentices.

This is a permanent position with a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The working hours are 30-40 hours per week, and the language spoken on the job is English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
  • Instruct apprentices
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
