Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Platform Expert

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Client360 Advisor Platform team. In this role, you will play a key part in monitoring, deploying, and maintaining applications on the Salesforce platform as well as integrating Salesforce with other RBC systems. This position offers a chance to work on cutting-edge technology and be actively involved in problem-solving and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor application health and performance using tools such as Zeke, Splunk, and Dynatrace
  • Handle production issues and implement necessary changes quickly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with operations/support teams to resolve technical issues
  • Work with Salesforce platform components like APEX coding and Lightning framework
  • Integrate Salesforce applications with third-party systems using APIs and integration patterns
  • Identify and recommend solutions to prevent recurring errors
  • Participate in workflow improvements and system modifications
  • Mentor junior team members and provide escalation support
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce administration and development
  • Production support experience in a Financial Services company
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Zeke
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
