About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to join our team at DEEPAK KHAMBA. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies, and assist with travel arrangements and child supervision.
  • Personal Care: Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and assist with personal hygiene and social development.
  • Discipline and Guidance: Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and provide guidance on personal hygiene and social development.
  • Record Keeping: Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
  • Environment and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and ensure the well-being of children.
  • Activities and Outings: Organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare them for rest periods.
  • Transportation: Take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to children, and help them with homework.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, with a focus on childcare and household management.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
