Sr Application Developer (Linux, Apache, Nginx, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Python)

At Course, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr Application Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Linux-based platforms, Apache, Nginx, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Design and implement software solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to enhance team knowledge and skills.
  • Identify, analyze, and manage project risks on large, complex projects.
  • Facilitate meetings and communicate with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain software using Python and CLI on Linux-based platforms.

Requirements:

  • Experience developing on a Linux-based platform.
  • Experience developing and maintaining web applications.
  • Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with source control (Git) in collaborative software development.
  • Experience with project planning and execution.
  • Experience with Python development.
  • Experience with various software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with Web servers (Nginx).
