About the JobWe are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in a long-term care setting. As an RPN with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work in a unique and rewarding environment where you will be coming into a resident's home every day. Your feedback and input will be valued and used to improve our daily practices, and your energy will go a long way in putting smiles on our residents' faces.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of new residents and work with a multidisciplinary team to determine the appropriate treatment and care plan.
- Lead the collaboration of the multidisciplinary team to manage pain, prevent deterioration, and promote resident well-being.
- Provide health teaching and education to residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and coach other healthcare professionals on clinical skills and provide guidance on complex wound care.
- Support care goals for residents in your unit and drive initiatives to improve resident outcomes.
