Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at ITALGEMME INC. This is a temporary position with a work term of up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors in a fast-paced environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to ensure a safe and healthy working space
  • Stock linen closet and perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clutter-free environment
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to meet high standards of hygiene
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas as needed to prevent the spread of illness
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing and walking environments
  • The physical demands of this job include lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Estimated Salary:

$25-$35 per hour based on industry standards and location
