Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Underwriting Assistant to join our team at Randstad Canada. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering superior quality commitments and fostering a One Stop Shop environment for our broker partners.

Key Responsibilities
• Data entry in Guidewire (Policy Information)
• Delivering superior quality commitments and fostering a One Stop Shop environment for our broker partners
• Serving our broker partners needs in a timely and informed manner
• Exhibiting a high degree of integrity when representing Broker and while dealing team members and the leadership team

Requirements
• Strong use of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is required
• Insurance experience is an asset
• Familiarity with an office environment and the ability to work independently, with little supervision
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Adapts to change and performs effectively under pressure
• Ability to multitask and monitor progress to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions

What We Offer
• Gain experience working for a well-known insurance company
• Work location is Markham
• All training will take place in the Markham office. Eventually once training in complete and we are comfortable with their ability to work independently, 3 days remote, 2 days in the office.
• 6 month contract
