About Promise Healthcare:
Promise Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to improving the health of the community through treatment, prevention, and education. Our mission is to provide high-quality, equitable healthcare to people of all ages.
We serve all patients regardless of their ability to pay for services and provide robust patient support and enabling services. Approximately 30% of our patients are Spanish speaking.
This position is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair equipment, fixtures, and systems to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential issues
- Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors on new construction and remodel projects
- Coordinate with landlords or perform maintenance of building interiors and exteriors, vehicle fleets, landscaping, and leased spaces
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
Requirements:
- Associate degree preferred, but not required; 5-8 years of experience in a similar position
- Preferred 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferably FQHC
- Preferred 3 years' experience in preventative maintenance type work
- Bilingual (Spanish) language preferred
