About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Technology Department in Victoria, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting software products for assigned client areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to build an in-depth understanding of product vision, needs, and issues.
  • Develop, implement, test, and deliver high-quality products that deliver maximum business value to clients.
  • Identify and resolve production issues and drive product innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance.
  • Apply knowledge of cloud concepts and platforms essential for the development of cloud products and manage applicable systems in a cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Presents products to internal and external stakeholders, reviews the work of other engineers, and provides feedback in an open, respectful, and constructive manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Up to 5+ years of experience as a Developer or Software Engineer with responsibility for design, development, testing, and production support.
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Appian and/or PowerApps; certifications are an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • Experience with issue tracking, product development, and version control tools.
