Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate- Stationery Engineer to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of ammonia systems and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor all utility readings and deviations from refrigeration equipment, meters, lines, tanks, and other equipment while adhering to TSSA standards.
  • Participate in plant equipment repairs and installations, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Interact with Contractual and Inspection Departments to address corrective and legal requirements.
  • Perform routine preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities on equipment, maintaining accurate logbooks and work orders.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to T.S.S.A. standards and Walmart policies.
  • Comply with governing practices, codes, and regulations, including Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, WHIMS, MSDS, and Walmart policy requirements.
Requirements
  • Must hold an Operating engineer 3rd Class or Refrigeration Class B ticket in good standing with the T.S.S.A.
  • Practical knowledge of heating and cooling systems and ammonia refrigeration equipment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Ammonia refrigeration equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Age - 18 or older
  • License - Class B-Refrigeration Operator or 3rd class Stationary Engineer Ticket
