Job Overview

Azran Lawyers is seeking a highly skilled Civil Law Legal Assistant to provide administrative and legal support to our team of lawyers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role and possess excellent command of French and English, both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative and legal functions inherent in civil law
  • Effectively manage files and ensure compliance with prescribed deadlines
  • Prepare legal procedures, formulate, adjust and refine various legal documents
  • Review documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with grammatical standards
  • Organize the filing of documents, both physical and digital
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including time entry, invoicing, and expense management
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a legal assistant or equivalent
  • Mastery of terminology, legal rules and procedures, as well as Aliform software
  • Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written
  • Complete mastery of the Office suite
