Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Opto-Mechanical Operations Specialist to join our team at Photonic. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of processes for laboratory test and measurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process Development: Design and execute efficient testing processes, including creating standard operating procedures and necessary tooling.
  2. Performance Improvement: Enhance the reliability and performance of test and measurement support operations through continuous process improvement.
  3. Workload Management: Estimate and balance team workload, providing decision support data and reports to the project management office.
  4. Training and Implementation: Author and implement procedures and skills training for team members to ensure safe operational execution.
  5. Tool Design: Design automated test tools and apparatus for use by the broader team, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
  6. Technical Documentation: Create technical publications detailing the manufacture, assembly, and operation of new tools, apparatus, and assemblies.

Requirements

Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent 5+ years of relevant experience in a commercial or academic lab environment. Experience with opto-mechanical systems.
