Senior Tools Engineer

At Worldline, we're shaping the evolution of payments technology and seeking a talented Senior Tools Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a passion for software development tools and deployment. As a Senior Tools Engineer, you'll design, create, and sustain the software engineering tools used to manage our Payment Acceptance Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing solutions, and configuration/deployment management.
  • Lead the translation of requirements into reliable, scalable, and maintainable automation systems.
  • Collaborate with production operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to platform quality and maintainability by writing automation scripts and managing tools.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development tools/deployment or operations-related fields.
  • Substantial knowledge of build, deployment, and configuration (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Bamboo, Octopus, Jenkins, and cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Experience with software development practices and tools like GIT/Stash, Maven, Ant, Visual Studio/MSBuild, CMake, Android Developer Studio, and other development environments.
  • Ability to write scripts and automations in languages like Power Shell, Bash, Python, and other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle frameworks and processes (Scrum).
