Precise Builders Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for various tasks including preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, reading blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements, and surveying building locations and levels.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and less than 2 years of experience. You will work in a construction environment, with tasks that include building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring and erecting walls and roof systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches
• Measure and cut materials made of wood and other materials
• Build and install foundations, walls and roof systems
• Maintain and repair structures, including residences and wooden structures

This is a temporary work term with 40 hours per week of work. The work language is English.
