About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit reports
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
