About the Role

Clovermead Farms Inc. is seeking a skilled Dairy Farm Worker to join our team. As a key member of our dairy farm operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our dairy cattle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disinfect pens, barns, and poultry houses to maintain a clean and safe environment for the animals.
  • Handle and care for animals, including monitoring their health and administering treatments as needed.
  • Perform livestock feeding and ensure that the animals have access to fresh water and nutritious feed.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to maintain a healthy and productive farm environment.
  • Supervise milking operations to ensure that they are carried out correctly and efficiently.
  • Treat livestock health issues and maintain accurate records of animal health and treatment.
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain quality control and production records to ensure the highest standards of animal care and farm productivity.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
