Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Associate to join our team at the Gaming Floor. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

About the Role

This is a fast-paced environment where you will be interacting with customers, answering questions about various games and machines, and promoting casino and bingo initiatives. You will also be responsible for managing slot machine reservations, verifying jackpot payouts, and maintaining a cash float.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with awareness of and excitement for on-going and up-coming Casino promotions.
  • Manage slot machine reservations and promote casino and bingo initiatives.
  • Work in compliance with internal controls, company policies and procedures, and provincial lottery/gaming policies and procedures.
  • Manage a cash float, verify and provide jackpot payouts, and monetary change to guests.
  • Report any violations and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary.
  • Replenish and maintain slot machines, monitor machine stack lights to ensure prompt service.
  • Acquire and maintain a knowledge of all slot/bingo operation policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience handling cash and working with the public.
  • Superior customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and pull, lift, and carry objects weighted similar to a full box of paper.
  • The ability to obtain registration with BCLC.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a team environment.
  • A willingness to develop new skills and stay on top of the latest industry news and insights.
