Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Truck Driver Assistant to join our team at ASINGH TRUCKING. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trucking services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Support: Assist in transporting tools and equipment on push or hand cars, and provide support to trucks and delivery drivers during loading and unloading processes.
  • Work Setting: Work in various locations, adapting to different environments and situations.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling, and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and provide a welcoming work environment for all employees.
  • Training and Development: Participate in diversity and cross-cultural training, as well as awareness training to create a inclusive work environment for newcomers, refugees, and youth.
  • Employee Support: Provide support to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Job Type: Permanent, full-time position.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
